We have classes for children, 12+ boys, teacher training, and tajweed level 1 for brothers.
We are located just 5 minutes from George Mason University, at the ICNVT masjid (Shirley Gate masjid).

NEW Children's Session Opening!
Noorani Learning Center has added a new children's session!
Children's Level 1, Session 3 will be on Sundays from 3pm-5:30pm.
The instruction hours will be 25 hours
Cost: $125 (total)
The other children's sessions are:
Children's Level 1, Session 1 -- Mondays and Wednesdays, 6pm - 8:30pm (50 hours of instruction; $250 total)
Children's Level 1, Session 2 -- Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6pm - 8:30pm (50 hours of instruction; $250 total)

Teacher Training - Al Qawa'id An Nooraniyah
Fall 2010

Saturdays: 6pm - 9pm
Duration: 10 Weeks
October 2 - December 4
Additional days and hours may be required to complete oral examinations.
Break Times:
Breaks for prayer according to the Islamic Center of Northern Virginia prayer schedule.
Required Text:
Al Qawa'id An Nooraniyah with 5 CDs. Supplemental materials provided.
Description:
This course is primarily designed to train students in the comprehensive Al Qawa'id An Nooraniyah methodology of teaching 1) reading of the Arabic Qur'an with correct pronunciation, and 2) the Art of Recitation (Tajweed).
The secondary goal is to correct and improve the student's own pronunciation, reading, and tajweed of the Qur'an using the Al Qawa'id An Nooraniyah methodology.
The course includes instruction in:
-- The Etiquette of Seeking Knowledge
-- Merits of the Qur'an
-- Classroom Management
-- Goals and Method of Teaching Every Lesson of Al Qawa'id An Nooraniyah (17 Lessons)
-- Intensive Practice in the Al Qawa'id An Nooraniyah Methodology
-- Correction and Improvement of the Student's Own Pronunciation and Reading
-- Tajweed Theory

There are no prerequisites for this course.
